Job Description

An exciting opportunity has opened for a full-time Junior Trainer and Co-Ordinator. This role is to provide training to franchise partners and efficient assistance and administration within the Waves Training Team.

The Waves Franchise Academy has a high volume of trainees attending on a regular basis, currently there is one full-time Junior Trainer at the Franchise Academy and one Head of Training who will line manage the new role.

We are looking for an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude who possesses excellent organisational skills that can aid in supporting the wider team. The ideal candidate will have office and administrative experience and will be able to deliver training in line with the company strategy. A large proportion of the role will be based at the Academy however the candidate must be able to travel because an important part of the role will be delivering training on site around the UK.

Roles and Responsibilities:



Training



- Support the training team to deliver all training courses offered in the curriculum in various settings:

o At the Franchise Academy in Tewkesbury

o Online

o On site

- Ensure standards are communicated and implemented to maintain service levels and efficiencies to meet targets.

- Liaise with the Franchise Support Managers during training sessions to identify any weakness in a Franchise Partner's ability, ensuring failures are minimal

- During retraining sessions, being able to advise those Franchise Partners falling below our company standards that we will not accept poor customer service or operational standards

- Deliver rectification training through personalised plans working with the Head of Training and the Security and Compliance team to understand the failings of the Franchise Partner

- Support the training team in developing and adapting training modules in line with the company strategy

Administration



- Maintaining the training calendar

- Coordinating with all teams to assign training courses to new Franchise Partners and the site supervisor training program, including both the Franchise Academy and Work Experience Sites

- Co-ordinating and booking hotels for the training attendees

- General training centre admin including booking of hotels for the training staff, training centre cleaning and printing certificates

- Maintaining the refreshments and ensuring the rest areas are clutter free

- Maintain inventory of inward and outgoing manager uniform issues to sites in training including iPad

- Maintain stock levels of chemicals and consumables required to operate the training centre

- Ensure adequate numbers of training vehicles are booked for training purposes

- Maintain and update the training centre register

- Collate and analyse feedback on:

o New equipment

o Chemicals

o Processes to continually improve the car wash operation

o Prepare all feedback for review monthly

Property management



- To ensure the effective implementation of all matters concerning the maintenance and improvement of the facility including:

o Determine with the Head of Training appropriate levels of reserves designated to the upkeep of all property

o Property cleaning, clearance, rubbish collections and recycling

- To undertake any other related tasks as and when required

General



- To give and receive regular support from the wider Group

- To identify own support needs and training requirements

- To participate in training opportunities identified to meet the post-holder's individual training and professional development needs

- To perform all activities in a manner that does not put the health and safety of oneself and others at risk

- To carry out such other duties consistent with the above as may be required

- To be available if required to respond to problems/issues covering the whole estate, including weekends

Key attributes



- Must have technical skills in Microsoft products, Apple products, Excel, PowerPoint, media

- Preferably some office/administration experience

- Ability to write training material

- Research and project management skills

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to plan effectively - daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly

- Effective communicator with good people skills and a polite telephone manner

- Confident and outgoing, self-motivated

- Creative thinker

- Willingness to learn

- Flexibility - the applicant needs to be a flexible team player as we are a small company

- Willingly provides encouragement, support, guidance, help and feedback

- Confidentiality within the Group and able to represent the Head of Training in absence as directed

Package:



Hours:

Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break) You may be required to work outside of these hours to suit the needs of the business

Location:

Franchise Academy which is based in Tewkesbury with travel to car wash sites as directed.

Holidays:

22 days per year plus statutory holidays. Holidays plus a day off for your Birthday

Notice period:

6 weeks

Starting salary:

As agreed, plus use of branded company van

Please note that the above terms are an indication; full terms and conditions of employment will be in the employment contract.

Pay: 30,000.00-31,000.00 per year
