We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. A great opportunity for somebody looking for a new challenge or for the next step in their career.
Under a supportive, experienced Head Chef and accomodation available with the role. You will be working within a team to build and grow the food offering working with local fresh, seasonal produce.
Following on from a succesful year where our sister pub, The Castle Inn in Lydford, was recognised as the best in Devon at the Devon tourism awards and picking up gold awards in both the Taste of the West and Devon Food and Drink awards, we now aim to build The Copley Arms to similar successes.
The Copley Arms is a fantastic riverside pub, 5 minutes from the beaches at Seaton and Downderry. With stone walls, beamed ceiling and cosy corners throughout, it's the perfect location for dining with friends, family or intimate evenings for two! We pride ourselves on serving fantastic food and drink with a strong emphasis on local produce and offering our locals and out of town guests genuine hospitality. With fires throughout and large riverside gardens the the pub is perfect for all seasons.
Key requirements for the post
Previous experience working in a kitchen for minimum 3 years
Keen to learn new skills
Food Hygiene Certificate
Approachable, with a friendly and professional manner
High personal standards
Your rostered hours will include peak shifts including weekends and bank holidays to ensure the smooth & efficient operation of food production.
