Location: United Kingdom (County Antrim - Belfast, County Antrim) Type: Contract Skills: Minutes, Organization, BA

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our prestigious tier 1 bank in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our projects and initiatives. This is a 7-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Take minutes during meetings and ensure accurate documentation of discussions, decisions, and action items.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, ensuring the availability of relevant stakeholders and necessary resources.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential roadblocks and implementing appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis, documenting user stories, functional requirements, and process flows.
  • Assist in testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Support project reporting and status updates, ensuring timely and accurate communication to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in minute-taking and accurate documentation of discussions.
  • Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, elicit requirements, and propose effective solutions.
  • Experience in facilitating meetings and workshops, ensuring active participation and productive outcomes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP) will be considered an advantage.
