Overview

We're looking for a

Junior Product Photographer

to join our team on a flexible, zero-hour basis. This role is perfect for someone at the start of their photography career who's eager to gain hands-on experience in a creative, design-focused environment. You'll collaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce visually compelling imagery that captures the quality, texture, and detail of our products--particularly tiles. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for composition, strong technical skills behind the camera, and the ability to edit and enhance images in line with our brand aesthetic. Your work will be a key part of our visual storytelling across digital and print platforms.

Duties

Capture high-quality photographs of products in various settings, ensuring accurate representation of colours, textures, and details. Edit and retouch images using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom, to enhance visual appeal. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts for product shoots that align with brand messaging. Manage and organise digital assets, ensuring all images are properly archived and easily accessible. Stay updated on photography trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and output quality. Collaborate with stylists and creative leads to bring mood boards and shoot concepts to life Occasionally support with short-form video or behind-the-scenes content for social media

Skills

Proficiency in photography techniques and equipment, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Experience with photo editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and Capture One. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Interest in the interior, architecture, or product design industries A passion for ceramics, tiles, textures, and materials is a big plus Self-motivated, flexible, and happy to work ad hoc depending on shoot schedules Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro is advantageous. Birmingham-based or within commuting distance
