About the Role

As a pivotal member of the International Sales Department, you will work closely with the International Sales Director and Senior Business Development Manager, supporting them in their daily tasks and in the global development of the Department. You will be the key contact for all international distributors and their queries. Your role is vital in ensuring seamless communication and support for all internal stakeholders and external partners.

At present, we manage approximately 20 international distributors spanning various regions worldwide. We strive to double this figure within the next 24 months, driving our company's rapid expansion and increasing global presence. Your role will play a vital part in managing and nurturing these relationships as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities



Main responsibilities



Shadowing from Senior International Sales Developer (Helene)

Interacting with distributors, assisting them with all aspects of sell-in and sell-out.

Facilitating daily communication and collaboration between partners worldwide and various departments (Ops | Marketing | Training), liaising all together, to develop the sales and achieve the business objectives.

Expectation 1-3 Months



Sales

:

Daily contacts with international distributors and partners

Sales reporting, data collecting and compiling, analysing and reporting to senior & sales director compiling sales reports

Crafting sales offer proposals for submission to senior developer

Pricing:



Updating Master files with exwork, local public prices (collecting public prices from distributors for each market), competition prices.

Updating and owning Order Forms for partners

Reporting:



Updating, sending, collecting & compiling Forecasts; sharing it internally with Ops & Marketing; checking the consistency with yearly quotas & target, with the marketing plan; regular following-up and warning if any discrepancy

Distributor stock collecting & reporting; analyse stock holding and make recommendations on promotions / sales activities / cross selling / animations.

Distribution reporting for each channel: Retail / Pro / Online

Sage: trained on Sage for a daily usage; collecting data to feed reports & presentations (internal / to partners / to shareholders)

Operations:



Becoming familiar with exporting specificities per region and per country, with corresponding documentation requirements, to be able to assist and liaise between Operations and clients in case it is needed.

Admin:



Creating reports, presentations, documents when needed (LOI, LOA, Confidentiality agreements, Contract Addendums, all drafts for internal submission).

Maintaining & updating main Master files: distribution updates, data compiling, contract dates, quotas, turnover, figures comparisons.

Following up & updating all Trackers (prospection, marketing animations...)

Updating all support documents and internal documents: Business Plans, presentations...

Shared Drive: organizing & sorting documents in Department shared drive

Maintaining worldwide contact master file (contact information)

Researching on traveling costs to optimize spendings

Collecting pictures from local markets, internal sharing and presentations

Trade Marketing Support:



Liaison with Marketing team for all Trade Marketing plans & animations (existing catalogue + NPD launching), for each market. Weekly meetings to get the information flowing

Support in local adaptation of all marketing materials

Marketing Allocation file: follow-up, compare consumption with marketing plan, with contractual terms; follow-up with clients / with team; warning of any discrepancy

Animations (limited editions, kits, POSM...) consumption following-up; quantitative & qualitative reporting

Branding & Brand image:



Merchandizing guidelines locally applied - quantitative & qualitative follow-up

Informing all clients of any product availability: products back in stock, NPD availability

Providing Marketing team with information and all market updates and coordinate the Newsletter to partners

Digital & Web:



Overseeing clients' websites, digital initiatives, social media presence to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Monitoring etailers and websites, making recommendations to the partner and/or marketing teams

Training Support:



Organizing and coordinating client training sessions and visits to maximize opportunities and strengthen relationships.

Co-ordinating all requests from distributors and work with Trainer on liaising training meetings and requests.

Events organization:



Helping & assist in the organization of the International Department key moments: Distributors cycle conferences, Trade Shows, Visits...

Manage the organization and logistics of international conferences and trade fairs across various regions worldwide to promote the company's products and services effectively

Quality issues:



Sharing information about all quality issues with relevant departments, tracking the impact on the business, coordinating the next steps for action

Expectation at 4 months and beyond



Finance:



Become familiar with clients P&L and margins calculations

Create P&L reports for existing & prospects ; update the P&L Reports

Manage clients' P&L statements to optimize profitability and operational efficiency

Contribute to the development and execution of marketing plans, including the support in adaptation of marketing materials

Drive the relationship between yourself and marketing to allow you to support the Distributors

Pricing:



Price structure check for each client the reality of their logistic costs (difference between what they asked or claim and the reality); this is in order to have solid ground to renegotiate better their contracts terms & conditions for us (impact on our margin)

Prospection & International Development:



Coordinate prospecting efforts to penetrate new markets and expand the client base

Analyse and Market research potential prospects that you can make suggestions

Market & competition Monitoring: collecting market data (figures, trends) and competition data (product portfolio, sales strategies, innovations...) ; creating monthly report for the department

Sales Reporting:



Advise any actions based on data collected and analyse

Regulatory:



Liaison between clients and regulatory teams, under supervision of Senior International Developer to ensure product compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Share compliancy documents with the clients.
