JUNIOR CAD TECHNICIAN

FM:Systems is looking for Junior CAD Technician to join our CAD team to assist with our product deployments across the globe.

#LI-Hybrid in the UK (Blackburn)

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Working & creating building drawings in AutoCAD.
• Using measured surveys from our survey team to update and create floor plans for a variety of customers, mainly in the public sector.
• Converting surveys into the relevant CAD specification using intelligent attribute blocks and layouts.
• Learning and using our own in-house commands and software.
• Update and draft customer CAD files to our CAD standards.
• Work with CAD lead on managing timelines.
• Hybrid working with 2-3 days in our Blackburn office.
• Support Surveying & CAD team on imbedding new processes based on latest technology.
• Work with onsite team to resolve queries should they arise to ensure customer deadlines are met.

The successful candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

• GCSEs or A-levels.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD lisp creation would be advantageous but not essential.
• Building Survey & Elevation knowledge would be advantageous but not essential.
• Training will be given on all aspects.
