We are an established and growing mechanical building services company looking for a

Junior CAD Draughtsman

to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for mechanical design who wants to develop their skills and build a long-term career.

Role Responsibilities:

Create detailed 2D CAD drawings for mechanical building services projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and pipework systems. Support engineers and project managers with design layouts, updates, and revisions. Assist in the preparation of tender and construction drawing packages. Maintain organised drawing records and document control. Work to deadlines and communicate effectively within the team.

Candidate Requirements:

A recognised qualification in AutoCAD or equivalent. Experience working within mechanical building services (essential). Good technical understanding of mechanical systems in commercial and residential settings. Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve independently. Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and within a team.

Desirable Skills (not essential):

Experience with Revit MEP or 3D CAD software. Knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
