A unique opportunity has arisen for a Joinery Production Scheduler to join us, a well-respected, established Bespoke Performance Doorset company focused on multiple commercial prestigious projects nationwide.

The Production Management Team for RW Doorsets assumes a pivotal role within the overall organisation, and are responsible for the daily performance of the production Facility, manufacturing bespoke performance doorsets, whilst ensuring that future commitments, orders and production delivery is planned for.

Your role as a Joinery Production Scheduler will be to work alongside others in a busy office to review information provided by the sales teams and our clients to ensure orders placed into our production facility are correct and contain the right detail to manufacture properly. As an individual you will have a sound understanding of Microsoft excel, and enjoy working in a busy office. We will expect you to communicate freely with your colleges and senior managers. Regular meetings with the Production Director and other members of the production Management Team to discuss production and programming issues will enhance your understanding of our business.

We do not expect any individual outside the doorset industry to have an understanding of the detail within our business and we will look forward to fully training those willing to learn. You will spend your time primarily within our offices but may be required to visit clients on occasion and will have your own specific duties whilst working closely with the Production Management Team to develop your skills and knowledge.

Plan works



Check Information received for errors/omissions and notify appropriate RW Joinery staff for action Assist in the preparation & issue of Factory manufacturing schedules (Framesets/CNC/Door leaves/Facings) Prepare / develop schedules / cutting lists as required for workshop production Liaise with site managers/contracts managers/supply only clients where required to clarify details / request additional information Provide updates to the Production Director of deliveries dates and manufacture periods.

Interpret drawings/specifications



Review revised drawings and amend documentation Ensure doorsets are manufactured in line with the relevant Global assessment details

Ordering/purchasing materials/plant



Purchasing materials using various internal procurement methods, ensuring best rate for all materials Ensuring purchase orders raised are monitored for delivery/quality/quantity and signed off once all criteria are met Assist in cost monitoring.

Attend contract/progress meetings



Liaise with Clients, suppliers and public. Promote a professional & competent company.

About you



Effective verbal communication skills Ability to function well as part of a team and as an individual. Methodical and diligent attention to detail. UK Driving License Computer literate (word and excel) Experience in joinery and a technical understanding of doorset manufacturing is beneficial but not essential
