Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and a solid understanding of construction techniques. The Joiner will be responsible for fabricating and installing wooden structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout the process.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Install fixtures and fittings, ensuring they are plumb and level. Carry out repairs and maintenance on existing structures as required. Work collaboratively with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to complete projects efficiently. Utilise power tools safely and effectively to carry out tasks. Perform heavy lifting as necessary during the construction process. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter is essential. Strong skills in joinery, carpentry, painting, and roofing techniques. Familiarity with masonry work is advantageous. Ability to plumb fixtures accurately and efficiently. Experience with electrical installations is a plus. Proficient in using various power tools safely. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks when required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
