Job Overview

We are seeking a Joiner to join our team, which has been supplying and fitting garden buildings for over thirty years. The ideal person will have some background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to assemble and install various structures and fixtures. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Joiner will mostly work on installs and some base work for sheds, summerhouses and garden offices.

Duties

Assemble wooden structures according to specifications and blueprints. Base work for the structures, whether paving, concrete or gravel. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during the assembly and installation processes. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools commonly used in joinery. Understanding of carpentry principles and techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Able to work under own initiative. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
