cured. is an authentic Italian Sandwich Shop in North London. We take great pride in making our ingredients from scratch and to a really high standard. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for Italian food to join our small, friendly team. We are looking for someone that knows about Italian meats and cheeses, has attention to detail and who is dedicated and enthusiastic and takes real pride in their work. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables and cooking vegetables and meats as necessary. Ensure that the kitchen area is clean, organised, and well-stocked with supplies. Engage with customers to take orders and provide recommendations, enhancing their dining experience through effective upselling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or issues to management promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to ensure timely food preparation and service. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. A culinary background or interest in food preparation will be advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues alike.

This is a part time role. You would be required to work every weekend and for the right candidate there could be extra days during the week. Please only apply if you are available to work weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 16 per week
