We now have an exciting opportunity within our repair center for an experienced Team Leader to join our team. Daily duties include:
Ensuring all priority and non-priority jobs are allocated to the correct engineer with the relevant skill sets, communicating goals and deadlines to team members.
Working with all company employees to increase engagement through effective and positive relationship building. Supporting management and staff to drive initiatives through to completion in-line with business objectives.
Being assertive, capable, and able to oversee the expertise of the workshop through a coaching and blended learning approach. Ensuring correct procedures are followed and implemented, driving productivity and quality. Always being visible and accessible to the wider team
Reporting on the performance and activities of your immediate area through daily meetings with the Production Manager and other team leaders.
Developing morale and promote a professional, committed approach generating a positive team spirit. creating a productive work environment for the team utilising respect, trust and appropriate strategies as required.
Holding regular meetings with their team members to update and receive suggestions to further improve the overall contribution of the area, performing quarterly PIP\xe2\x80\x99s meeting with each employee to drive individual development and engagement, assessing the team performance, and providing feedback to employees and upline on a regular basis.
Ensuring cover is available for team members not at work due to sickness/holidays ensuring Rota is managed affectively throughout the year. Logging all absence and conducting return to work interviews.
Ensuring their work areas are kept clean, organizing weekly clean-ups. Embracing 5S methodology.
Reporting immediately any issues that may hinder progress or cause safety issues with the workshop.
Working closely with account managers, purchasing and technical support teams to drive effective working relationships and understanding.
Performing customer service functions, including interacting with customers, assisting where required and giving timely feedback wherever possible.
Quality Assurance:
To ensure the correct work procedures are followed and all work is completed to the highest possible standard. Ensuring that quality issues and processing defects are appropriately identified, documented and tracked through to resolution\xe2\x80\xa6
Quality assurance of teams with training interventions and information releases to support increased effectiveness of their reports.
Identify infringements of company rules and a regulation, and address through to resolution.
Stock:
Perform area stock take activities in line with company requirements.

Oversee area WIP ensuring that current WIP is correct, ensuring that redundant stock is removed and disposed of in line with the company\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
CI Activities:
Management of the team\xe2\x80\x99s workplace audits to drive accuracy and processes improvements.
Ensure that all improvement projects are driven to completion and ROI evidenced.
Directly influence the direction and growth-path of the Workshop and its members.
Provide guidance on process reviews and work closely with all to identify process improvements, identifying wastes within the current process (TIM WOOD), challenging the norm one step at a time.
Support process evaluation through process timings, process flow creation, work instruction creation and reviews, documenting evaluation to evidence process improvement showing associated cost savings and ROI.
Support any process improvements with the use of robust sustainment tools, reporting and resolving failures and issues as they arise.
Training:
Assisting with hiring and training employees using pre-agreed objectives.
Developing all team members using the skills matrix to assess and correct all areas of possible weakness to the operation.
Aiding engineers requiring help in specialised task i.e., system interactions and correct processing. Overseeing and driving work instruction creation, supporting training matrix administration after training has been delivered.
Instruct others, and offer tips and tricks learned from hands-on experience to simplify otherwise complicated and tricky tasks.
Create and document all training interventions to resolve all process and quality related issues.
Control Small to medium training interventions through a \xe2\x80\x9csingle point lesson\xe2\x80\x9d process, ensuring auditable understanding and sign off is captured.
Providing teams with information about recent developments, programmes and policy changes via department team meetings and individual face to face interaction
Experience in computer operating systems/repair and the installation of software across multiple platforms would be beneficial but not necessary for the role as training will be given: On the job training will be provided and you may be required to attend specialised training sessions on new equipment which may be in-house or external. The position is 40 hours per week based on working any five days in seven. Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xc2\xa324,000.00-\xc2\xa326,000.00 per year
