:

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an I.T Systems Support Analyst supporting the Distribution Centre in Trentham operated on behalf of our customer, Screwfix.

This critical role will support the effective delivery of mission critical business solutions for the operations encompassing elements of 1st, 2nd & 3rd line IT support both during operational hours and as part of an on-call rota.

Shift Pattern:

Days 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00

What you\'ll be doing\xe2\x80\xa6

Reporting to the Desktop Team Manager

Ensuring a consistent, smooth and efficient warehouse operation through optimal IT system availability

Flexible working hours with a requirement to work additional hours when required and being part of the on-call rota to provide support.

Identify & manage IT issues, determining criticality & communicating those priorities to non-IT literate users clearly whilst under pressure

Investigate and prioritise requests for support, raised by users

Provide cover for other team members and ad hoc duties when requested by Management.

About you\xe2\x80\xa6

Must have experience of working in flexible fast-paced environment with a can-do approach to resolving issues

Varied experience in an automated-warehouse environment utilizing the warehouse management systems
Technical experience with citrix platforms & exposure to Linux based systems advantageous
Be capable of working individually and as part of a team, whilst identifying & escalating problems when appropriate.

Server Architecture - Windows & Linux

Desktop PC\'s, thin clients & printers

Experience of configuring PI\'s (desired but not essential)

Hand Held/Wrist mounted Data Terminal Configuration

Ability to work with internal support teams and 3rd party service providers to anticipate and resolve issues in order to deliver a continuously improving service proposition to customers.

Ability to work as a team with minimal supervision and prioritise own work effectively.

User management and Windows Server roles including Active Directory

Firewall configuration and support (desired but not essential)
