JOB VACANCYINTERNAL & EXTERNALIT Systems DeveloperPermanent,Full Time - 35 hours per weekSalary: Grade 5 xc2xa335,208 - xc2xa338,204 (Starting salary commences at xc2xa335,208)City of Glasgow College invites applications for the post of Systems Developer supporting our digital strategy and transformation initiatives.The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate proven skills and expertise in professional software development, with a background that includes web-based applications.The post holder will have well-rounded technical skills, demonstrating experience of different software development toolsets & environments. You will also be able to support a range of in-house bespoke software systems, diagnose and rectify coding errors, and maintain code sets and documentation as part of formal change and release management frameworks.In addition, the abilities to support end-users and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the College are essential.The ideal candidate will have experience of systems development using PHP and SQL, preferably in Oracle environment, and be confident working with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
