Position Overview: LMA is looking to recruit an IT Support Specialist. Working as part of a small team the postholder will be responsible for administering, supporting and maintaining ICT provision across LMA at both our Liverpool and London campuses. This includes our Google Workspace environment, servers, networking, telephony, software, endpoint devices and student/staff support. Key Responsibilities: The following tasks are within the overall job role: \xe2\x97\x8f Support across IT services and technologies, including Google, Microsoft and Apple platforms \xe2\x97\x8f Support the ICT development in relation to teaching, learning and administration including the development of technology led learner support; \xe2\x97\x8f Configure/maintain computer systems, networks and peripherals; \xe2\x97\x8f Evaluating, configuring, packaging and deploying software for use; \xe2\x97\x8f Be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance activities; \xe2\x97\x8f Contribute to IT projects when required; and \xe2\x97\x8f Providing technical support for all computer users. Qualifications and Skills: \xe2\x97\x8f Around 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 demonstrable experience in IT support services or consultancy \xe2\x97\x8f Well-developed network/desktop client troubleshooting skills \xe2\x97\x8f Good understanding of LAN & WAN technologies \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in clean workstation installations (tidy cable management for end-user devices, such as computers, monitors, printers, etc) \xe2\x97\x8f Experience with Google Workspace For Education (desirable) \xe2\x97\x8f Strong interpersonal skills enabling good verbal and written communication \xe2\x97\x8f Strong organisational skills are necessary with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously \xe2\x97\x8f Passion to learn new tech and self-improve Work location: Based at our Liverpool campus but will be required to travel to our London site on occasions.
