Our clients include international development agencies, international lending institutions, private corporations and philanthropies, and national governments.About Fleming Fund Country Grant Phase IIAntimicrobial resistance (AMR) is an emerging global public health concern that puts the gains of the Millennium Development Goals at risk and endangers efforts to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). To address the global AMR issue, WHO developed a Global Action Plan on AMR (AMR GAP), which has been endorsed by the World Health Assembly WHA68.7 in 2015.The Fleming Fund was established by the UK Government in response to the UK AMR Review published in 2016. It is a UK aid programme supporting up to 25 countries across Africa and Asia to tackle antimicrobial resistance. The Fund is managed by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and invests in strengthening surveillance systems through a portfolio of country and regional grants, global projects, and fellowship schemes. Mott MacDonald is the commercially appointed Management Agent for the Fleming Fund Country and Regional Grants.The Fleming Fund Country Grant in Bangladesh (FFCGB) has been implemented by a DAI-led consortium since January 2020. FFB just finished Phase I which focused on laboratory infrastructure enhancement; human resource strengthening and workforce reforms; AMR and antimicrobial use (AMU) surveillance systems strengthening; building foundations for AMR surveillance data use and promoting rational use of antimicrobial medicines. Phase II which commenced on January 1, 2024 will build on the work of Phase I and will focus on four outcomes: production of quality AMR, AMU and antimicrobial consumption (AMC) and burden data; quality analyses of data; sharing analyses and data with decision-makers and promoting sustainable investment to counter AMR.Scope of Work:IT Support (National) will be responsible for addressing programme team IT related issues under the supervision of Procurement and Logistics Specialist and under guidance of DAI Home Office (HO) IT Support (International).The tasks that the IT Support (National) will need to undertake include (but not limited to):\xc2\xb7 Completes necessary configuration of laptops for setting up user accounts and profiles of new employees.\xc2\xb7 Client computer/Laptop hardware and application installation, configuration, and maintenance\xc2\xb7 Diagnoses and fixes laptop and other equipment (printer, projector, etc.) issues\xc2\xb7 Diagnoses and fixes network (LAN and WAN) related issues like installation, connectivity and maintenance.\xc2\xb7 Provide IT support in Event/Conference.\xc2\xb7 Liaises with ISP (internet service provider) to solve any internet related issues.\xc2\xb7 Management and supervision of support provided by local support providers/service center for IT equipment.\xc2\xb7 Initiates tickets in DAI Support Portal if support from HO IT is required.\xc2\xb7 Coordinates IT needs with HO IT Support (International) and IT Operations team. Communication with the IT Operations team for system special features.\xc2\xb7 Assists Procurement and Logistics Specialist with IT procurement.\xc2\xb7 Assist in inventorying IT equipment and software audits.\xc2\xb7 Conducting IT assessments for partners, other stakeholders if needed.\xc2\xb7 Complete IT closedown at the end of the programme with support from the IT Support (International).\xc2\xb7 Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all IT related policies and procedures as set forth in the Project\xe2\x80\x99s Field Operations Policy Manual and DAI Operations Manual.\xc2\xb7 Provide IT orientation training and support to the users.Educational Qualification:Diploma/Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science or a similar relevant professional degree.Experience and competencies:\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years working experience in IT Support and troubleshooting in a relevant enterprise (e.g., large organization, IT firm, IT Support provider, etc.).\xc2\xb7 Must be proficient in Microsoft/Windows work environment.\xc2\xb7 Must have Expertise of providing IT support and troubleshooting on latest Microsoft/IT technologies and tools.\xc2\xb7 Must have good knowledge of hardware related troubleshooting.\xc2\xb7 Must have experience with Outlook Client or O365 services\xc2\xb7 Must have knowledge of backup and restore service.\xc2\xb7 Must have knowledge of communication equipment and VPN services.\xc2\xb7 Must have English language proficiency in both verbal and written.Supervision: Will work under the direct supervision of Procurement and Logistics Specialist and under guidance of HO IT Support (International).Geographic Locations: Dhaka, Bangladesh, with occasional travel to other divisions of the country if needed.Closing date - 9/5/24
