Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Operations, the successful candidate will be working with multiple IT Teams and key business areas. We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven

IT Supplier Manager

to oversee the management of IT vendors, procurement activities, and IT asset lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring strong supplier performance, optimizing purchasing processes, and maintaining accurate control over IT assets to support operational efficiency and strategic objectives.


Responsibilities include:



Manage the full lifecycle of IT supplier relationships, including sourcing, selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, performance management, and renewals or terminations. Oversee the procurement of IT goods and services, ensuring alignment with budget, compliance, and business requirements. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, Architecture and Procurement teams to support purchasing decisions and streamline procurement processes. Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, invoices, licensing agreements, and warranties. Lead IT asset management efforts, including tracking hardware and software inventory, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and managing asset lifecycle from acquisition through retirement. Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual terms; drive service improvement and issue resolution. Identify cost-saving opportunities and vendor consolidation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce spend. Support risk management efforts by ensuring supplier compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards. Facilitate regular supplier reviews and foster strong working relationships to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. Stay informed about IT industry trends, pricing models, and vendor capabilities to enhance purchasing and vendor strategies. Budget and procurement management for projects Ensure adherence to IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices and support alignment with ISO20000 and ISO 27001 standards.

What We're Looking For...



Significant experience in IT supplier/vendor management, IT procurement, or IT asset management. Strong understanding of IT purchasing processes, licensing models, and vendor negotiation. Experience with IT asset management systems and procurement platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, D365). Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Solid understanding of compliance, cybersecurity, and risk in supplier management. Experience of complex IT environments with a variety of technology, such as SaaS, public cloud, complex networking, on-premises hardware, COTS software and in-house software. Comfortable in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Pragmatic in terms of process, relationships, planning, technology and prioritisation Experience with multiple modern IT tools, such as Office365, SharePoint, Monday.com, Confluence, Slack, Zoom, Teams, Excel Practical experience with ITSM best practice and ITIL
