Join our dynamic team as an IT Service Delivery Manager, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the technology experience across our organisation. Leading a small, skilled team--including a Support Technician in Jersey and both an Infrastructure Engineer and Desktop Support Engineer in the UK--you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of our network, server, VOIP systems, and overall IT support.
The role will work closely with the broader IT department to lead, support, manage, and evolve the on-premises and hosted infrastructure as well as security operations. Your expertise will drive our organisations security architecture, service delivery, compliance, and business continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities
Manage both Support and Infrastructure support functions for group business in the Jersey and the UK delivering the highest possible standards.
Lead, manage and support all infrastructure and security operations across 2 data centres, ensuring alignment with business initiatives and regulatory requirements from a mix of L2 & L3 assigned work and tickets.
Oversee security vulnerability management, incident response, and enterprise security architecture design.
Drive the implementation and maintenance of infrastructure technologies, including cloud environments, network security, and endpoint management.
Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and IT service delivery.
Manage Out of Hours emergency support for core infrastructure systems using available resources.
Design, implement and maintain virtualised desktop infrastructure components including VMware vSphere, vCenter, Azure AVD and associated technologies.
Manage Windows desktop operating system deployment, updates, and security patches through Intune and related tools.
Perform capacity planning and resource optimisation based on usage patterns and growth trends.
Develop and maintain task sequences for automated OS deployment and configuration.
Monitor and optimise Azure AVD session performance, investigating and resolving end-user experience issues.
Plan and execute infrastructure component upgrades, including hypervisors, management tools, and desktop operating systems.
Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Implement and maintain security controls and compliance requirements.
Work with the support team to understand user needs and improve service delivery.
Creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Service & Security Expertise:
Proven ability to deliver service level agreements (SLAs) and manage application/infrastructure service delivery.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues and handling security vulnerabilities.
Multiple years' experience in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of IP, TCP/IP, and network administration protocols.
Expertise in VMWare, Windows Server, SQL databases, SIP Telephony and monitoring tools like Nagios.
Microsoft Azure, WAN, Cisco WLC, Ubiquiti, With-Secure, Wazuh, IPSEC & SSL VPN, 802.1x, Microsoft AD, GPOs, DHCP and DNS.
Strong understanding of Linux administration (Not essential).
Extensive experience working in agile environments.
