ABOUT THE ROLE
IT Services are seeking a Senior Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Analyst within the TEL Digital Pedagogy Team.
The TEL Digital Pedagogy team at Northumbria University aims to evangelise the pedagogy behind Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) at the university, inspiring others to embrace and adopt new approaches to teaching and learning that are enabled by technology.
Within the role, the successful candidate will design, develop, and undertake themselves the development of pedagogically underpinned workshops, 1:1 bespoke support for staff and the delivery of large-scale delivery of TEL-based training sessions for both staff and students. The successful candidate will manage a team of TEL Analysts responsible for supporting and delivery of this work and will manage the day-to-day activities of the team.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The TEL Digital Pedagogy team is one of five functional areas provided by the University\'s central TEL team. The other service areas are TEL Customer Success, TEL Impact & Engagement, TEL Endpoint Engineering and TEL Content Development.
The successful candidate will become a part of the leadership team within Technology Enhanced Learning at the university and will see the post holder contribute to the development and delivery of TEL Strategy, as well as contribution to the wider university Education and IT Strategies.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have a professional background within learning technology or have a strong teaching background in a digital related field. They will have excellent people and communication skills with an emphasis on learning and teaching and will be able to demonstrate sound pedagogy in the subject area of Technology Enhanced Learning.
Candidates will be considered from a range of teaching & training backgrounds who can demonstrate their ability to effectively use technology to enhance their practices. There is no necessity to have taught computer science-based subjects. As such the post holder encourages candidates with a keen understanding & ambition in the use of technology within their practices, to apply.
