IT Security Lead

\xc2\xa370,000 - \xc2\xa375,000 + hybrid working + benefits

Watford, Hertfordshire - Hybrid Working (1-2 days per week in the office is required)

IT Security Lead required to join a growing organisation based in Watford, Hertfordshire who are offering hybrid working options, you will be required at least 1 day per week in the office. This client is a rapidly going organisation and due to organic growth are looking for someone to work within the IT operations team, taking the lead of IT security across the business. The IT Security Lead will have diverse role from selecting and implementing IT security solutions to responding it BAU security issues to educating all departments on cyber security.

The successful candidate will be working with a high performing infrastructure team and CISO you will be responsible for to enhancing cyber security performance, policies and procedures across their Windows and Linux estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop information security processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Analyse, design and implement efficient IT security systems across the infrastructure estate, including
• Respond to security alerts raised by IT security systems, including incident response.
• Upgrade and patch systems and applications to maintain IT security standards.
• Install and upgrade anti virus software and firewalls.
• Install and manage 3rd party SIEM and PAM software/service.
• Point of contact for external IT security partners and Disaster Recovery teams
• Work with compliance on IT related parts of ISO27001
• Scope, arrange and support security testing, including penetration
• Ensure any identified security findings are resolved as per best
• Analyse proposed IT infrastructure changes, software development changes or business process changes from an IT security standpoint to ensure IT security risks are not introduced and ensure additional security testing, such as an additional pen test, is undertaken when required.
• R&D to stay current in IT security as well as evaluating new technologies.
