What does the role involve?

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our Group IT Innovation and Change function. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting our business unit strategies to deliver outstanding customer experiences, with a focus on accelerating our digital footprint. You'll work on a blend of business and IT projects, working closely with your sponsors and working groups to deliver business/IT focussed change.

Some of your key duties will include:

End to end delivery of assigned business/IT change projects and ensuring use of the appropriate methodology Develop, monitor and actively manage project plans and report progress against them Identify and proactively manage risks and issues by providing options and measures to manage and mitigate them successfully Working with business sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change through the project lifecycle

What are we looking for?

----------------------------



You'll be a skilled Change and IT Project Manager with a demonstrable record of successful delivery and management of multiple streams of work concurrently. Ideally you will have a Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2, Agile qualification, APMP) however, this is not essential.



Also, we're looking for the following:


Excellent understanding of the project management lifecycle, including best practice processes, tools and methodologies In depth understanding of Agile and Waterfall Project methodologies Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and persuade An adaptable approach to project governance and control
