Working Hours - Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm Friday 8am - 12pm

Our client is looking for an IT Operations & Service Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in incident and problem solving management
• Good knowledge in network standards
• Experience on SAP ERP (SCM, SD, PP, QM, MM, Basis) is a \xe2\x80\x9cplus\xe2\x80\x9d
• Experience in writing user guides, knowledge base entries

Essential Education and Experience

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience in network and/or system administration
• Must have a strong hands-on/technical knowledge of core Microsoft technologies
• Hardware skills (PC, servers, access point, switching and cabling)
• Network technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, VLAN\'s, and VPN
• Must have good understanding of user environment management
• Must have a good familiarity with other IT Infrastructure technologies
• Must have good people skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

Responsibilities

• Maintains all the IT systems respecting to the Client\'s IT standards and policies : maintenance operation, inventory, backups, procedure and documentation.
• Provides IT support to the end users by delivering directly the service or by addressing the escalation to central IT teams.
• The support activity has to be performed by respecting KPIs
• Local IT support management
• Local IT infrastructure management
• Preserve and enhance local security information
• Some off shift work will be necessary to support project implementation, application changes and/or conversions that are required to be done during hours that do not affect normal business operation. Typically, these are scheduled at night and/or weekends.
