Job Title: IT Helpdesk Analyst
Location: Thetford - Onsite
Salary: \xc2\xa325,000 - \xc2\xa330,000 per annum

Cooper Lomaz is collaborating with a dedicated business in Thetford to support its expanding IT services, which are driving key projects to facilitate the continuous growth of the business. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing top-tier IT support, acting as the first point of contact for all IT issues. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and skill development, particularly in the re-architecture of our IT systems, with exposure to technologies such as VMware and Cisco.

Position Overview:
As a IT Helpdesk Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive IT experience for end users by addressing and resolving IT issues promptly. This role involves active participation in projects related to our IT systems, providing you with opportunities to learn and gain in-depth experience across various technologies. You will be responsible for triaging all tickets and providing support in person and remotely to key business stakeholders within agreed SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT issues, providing timely and effective support.
  • Own and manage IT support requests, ensuring a positive end-user experience.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on key projects/initiatives to support business growth.
  • Demonstrate a strong service mentality and excellent customer service skills.
  • Utilise technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve networking, server architecture, and software-related issues.
  • Work with Office 365, Active Directory, Entra, Security, Azure, AWS, VMware, Firewalls, and VLANs.
  • Display a drive to learn new skills and progress into infrastructure roles.

  • Knowledge of virtualisation like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Working knowledge of Firewalls and VLANs.
