Job Title: IT Engineer - Aviation Sector
Salary: xc2xa350,000 - xc2xa355,000, dependent on experience.
Location: Stafford - Full-time, office-based, Monday to Friday with flexible hours.Are you an experienced IT Engineer with a passion for driving technological innovation in the engineering sector? Join a fast-growing, revolutionary organisation based in Stafford, where you will lead the development and management of our IT infrastructure and software systems.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the stability, security, and efficiency of IT network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with IT managed services providers while transitioning to in-house IT resources.
- Support the implementation of a company-wide ERP system.
- Provide day-to-day IT support for the team.
- Strong knowledge in network management (LAN, WAN, VPN, routing, switching).
- Expertise in scalable, secure systems architecture.
- Proficiency in software such as Creo, PTC Windchill, and Oracle NetSuite.
- Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows Server, UNIX).
- Knowledge of database management and cloud computing platforms.
- Hyper-V virtualisation on Dell servers.
- Dell PCs, Sophos hardware firewalls, fibre links, and StarLink internet redundancy.
