Job Description

Robert Half Technology have been engaged on a retained basis to secure an IT Director for a Construction/Real Estate business based in Derbyshire.

This company have plans to grow through acquisition over the next 3 years, so need an experience individual who can help ready them for this expansion phase.

Working for the UK division of an international business you will lead the IT function, tasked with developing, implementing and monitoring the technology strategy for the UK entity, whilst aligning this to the Group roadmap.

• Liaise with Group in Europe, to ensure that the IT Strategy is consistent with the overall framework of the Group
• Proactively support the Senior Leadership team, to ensure that their IT needs are well understood, prioritised and developed, within the confines of the IT resources available
• Develop and Maintain the IS Development roadmap (in house and outsourced) for enterprise web and mobile applications in line with business strategic requirements and priorities
• Develop and maintain the roadmaps for all aspects of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, desktops and mobile devices
• Develop, document and manage Enterprise Systems risks: develop, document and execute the disaster recovery and cyber-security procedures and ensure that these are regularly tested for effectiveness
• Lead and manage the Group\'s telecommunications Strategy including handsets, mobile phones and mobile devices
• Develop relationships with key IT & Telecoms vendors to ensure the business gets maximum value from its suppliers.

This role would suit an individual looking to take a step up into an IT Director role and take direct development from an aspirational leadership team
