This role is a learning opportunity to gain practical experience in administering, maintaining, and supporting the Associations current and planned technology. Working towards understanding and implementing IT best practice to ensure a high quality, efficient, effective, and secure information communication and technology offering across Hightown.
About the Apprenticeship Training
The Level 3 Cyber Security Technician (L3CST) trains an apprentice to implement a series of technical, procedural and physical controls to monitor, detect and respond to a wide range of cyber security threats and maintain business continuity.
The apprentice will receive a thorough understanding of current and future technologies, threat analysis techniques and controls used to mitigate or remediate cyber security risks via Firebrand, our Training Provider.
Firebrands course is delivered either Online (online live instructor led), or face to face in the classroom environment (your choice). Our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning Mentors (LMs) and world-leading trainers prepare apprentices to work across multiple sectors.
Completion of this apprenticeship will provide learners with the following world class vendor certifications in addition to the Cyber Security Technician apprenticeship:
BCS Certificate of Information Security Management Principles (CISMP)
