I am working with an Island authority in the South with Good Ofsted, where the council is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities.(accommodation covered /easily accessible to the mainlan

The Authority has a Good recent Ofsted which shows their good practice, meaning you have the satisfaction of knowing you are making a positive change within your community. This is one of the only Local Authorities where every person there tends to stay for longer than a year.

To compensate Social Workers who are staying away for the week, they are prepared to pay a sizeable accommodation allowance which will cover your entire accommodation cost while there. They are also prepared to pay a very good pay rate.

The ideal candidate will have SWE registration, be a car driver, have 2 years min Post qualified experience, ideally within children with disabilities/ safeguarding
