IRR Public Engagement and Communications Manager (CIR) UE07: \xc2\xa337,099 to \xc2\xa344,263 Deanery of Clinical Sciences/Centre for Inflammation Research Fixed term, full time (35 hours per week) The Opportunity: The Public Engagement & Communications Manager will implement an integrated strategy for public engagement, public involvement and communication for the Centre for Inflammation Research (CIR). The post-holder will ensure delivery, monitoring and evaluation of engagement and communications making innovative use of digital media and working creatively to raise the profile of the Centre and empower stakeholders to engage with research. This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and fixed term until end of August 2024. We are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Significant experience of working in a Public Engagement with research role - engaging with a variety of public audiences, researchers and healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge and experience of using social and digital media platforms
  • Proven ability to use industry-standard digital media software
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
