Job Description
Our client, a globally recognised Auction House are seeking to appoint an Inventory Coordinator based in London.
This role offers industry training and excellent progression opportunities. This role is a 9-month fixed-term contract.
You will be responsible for the following duties:
- Showcase excellent client service, representing the organisation with the upmost professionalism.
- Reach out to clients regarding the reconciliation of artworks and other property, maintaining an excellent level of customer service.
- Return all property to clients, coordinating the outbound logistics and transportation, across air, road and sea freight.
- Liaise with the operations team, arrange the handling of artwork, packaging, and crating services.
- Communicate with third parties to discuss inventory management.
- Carry out standard administrative procedures.
- Carry out any additional ad hoc tasks as directed by the department Manager.
- Previous experience working within the fine art industry, liaising with HNWI.
- Experience with art logistics and shipping is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of logistics documentation is advantageous.
- Highly organised with a key attention to detail.
- Ability to work both efficiently and autonomously.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Experience with Outlook and MS Office Suite.
