Our client, a renowned art gallery, requires an International Council Officer to start as soon as possible. This is an ongoing temporary role paying \xc2\xa314.99 per hour plus holiday pay accrual.

Main duties of the International Council Officer are:

• Preparing meeting papers, coordinating internal and external attendance to meetings

• Drafting letters to supporters and coordinating a mailing list going to 140 international supporters

• Keeping an up to date record tracking membership relationships

• Responsible for setting agendas, drafting all relevant literature and sending out welcome packs for new members

• Helping to keep correspondences sent out to print on time

• Provide both organisational and admin support to the whole team, whilst acting as a first point of contact for international members

• Oversee all membership administration

• Support heads of department

• Help to develop new and existing memberships

• Arrange site visits, meetings and lunches for members

• Respond to requests from members effectively

• Tracking income and expenditure for the Council

Requirements and desired attributes

• Excellent organisation and communication skills

• Previous experience using Excel spreadsheets and good data management skills

• Good level of flexibility and ability to manage workload and prioritise projects

• Ability to work calmly under pressure

• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

• Diplomatic approach and ability to lead, motivate, and develop support staff

• Knowledge of arts organisation culture

• Experience with memberships
