The A Side: A Day in The Life
This role reports to the Carlos Project Manager who is responsible for delivering the CARLOS Roadmap, projects aimed at enhancing and optimising the system for its global Royalties user base across over 45 countries.
The primary purpose of the role will be developing and supporting the CARLOS Royalties application. This will include user interface improvements, performance enhancements, integrations with other internal systems and operational support. The ability to work well within a team and independently is vital to success in this role.
As well as strong technical skills, good communication and management skills are required to liaise and co-ordinate technical activities within our application development team, our hosting provider and in-house business and technical teams.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Be TechnicalThorough and current knowledge of the IBMi and its operating system
Good understanding and experience with HTML, Javascript and CSS
Ability to develop using RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, SQL and CLLE on an IBMi
Knowledge of Turnover or a similar change management tool will be required
Be CollaborativeAbility to demonstrate communication skills by being able to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work in a team as well as being able to work on own initiative where necessary
Be OrganisedRole will require to pay attention to detail and accuracy
Ensure tasks are completed within agreed timescales and documented as expected
Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
