Internal Sales & Technical Support Advisor

Reports To:

Commercial Manager

Job Purpose



Ensure the smooth running of the department by completing tasks in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities



Work alongside Business Development Managers to assist with identifying needs of end users, contractors and merchants in order to fulfil customer requirements. Liaising with merchants, end users, architects and colleagues to produce accurate plumbing & drainage quotations. Provide customers with up to date information, advice on best practice and offer technical expertise on a range of products, installation and regulatory information. Liaising closely with end users, architects, colleagues and merchants to specify, size and design attenuation tanks and source any required ancillary products. Answering technical enquiries and questions. Managing and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner. Assisting with technical and quality tasks when required.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience



Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft office programs. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.

Discipline



Ensure that you are aware of and comply with all Company regulations, as contained in the Employee Handbook, Work Instructions and other control documentation. Maintain acceptable standards of behaviour, attendance, time-keeping, etc., as detailed in the Employee Handbook and other control documentation.

Communications



Ensure that communications are maintained at the highest possible level, keeping the management team informed of impending situations which could develop into more serious problems. Comply with the Company's Team Briefing process.

General



Ensure compliance with the company's Equal Opportunity Policy. Any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with your training and experience.
