Internal Sales Executive

Job Description

We are seeking an office-based internal salesperson for the commercial & residential market who will actively contact potential customers including M&E design consultants, housebuilders & developers, contractors, and resellers and engage in new business activities. The role sits within a well- connected Client Service Team, reporting directly to the Internal Sales and Customer Service Manager.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities



Process and manage the Sales Inbox, ensuring timely responses and actions are taken within the required turnaround time. Gain face-to-face appointments for the field sales team with key decision makers. Generate and qualify sales lead opportunities, progress prospect quotes to orders. Increase the company income forecast by adding new opportunities to Prospect365 CRM. Assist in marketing campaigns and lead generation activities, keep Prospect365 CRM updated with accurate customer information and documentation. Follow up on existing leads within the department to help convert opportunities into sales. Be flexible in approach when required to cover during colleague's absenteeism.

Key Objectives & Targets



Target and develop relationships and opportunities with M&E design consultant engineers, specifiers, housebuilders & developers, contactors, buyers, and resellers. Arrange face to face customer meetings in the Air Academy and virtual customer meetings for the order conversion. Airflow's commercial & domestic ventilation products. Review, analyse and action lead opportunities on Prospect365 CRM. Demonstrate a good understanding of Airflow's full product portfolio and use the product selection software tools to carry out selections and upsell where possible. Keep up to date with relevant building regulations and industry standards (e.g., Part F, L, O, SAP, CIBSE). Research businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new clients and new project lead opportunities. Submit weekly and monthly reports, which include individual sales orders, sales invoiced, income forecast values and track performance against sales budget target. Contribute to achieving company sales targets by converting project lead opportunities to orders. Present CPD seminars to multiple clients and actively self-generate these seminars.

Key Competencies & Requirements



Previous sales or business development experience is required. Bachelor's degree, Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is essential. Knowledge of the HVAC industry and previous CRM experience is preferable.
