We have a vacancy at our Thatcham office for an Internal Sales Engineer / Business Sales Executive. This role is based within our Sales and Operations Teams, where you will be responsible for generating new business, creating your own sales leads and opportunities, as well as developing existing customer accounts. You will handle both telephone and email enquiries, with a view to progressing the role into an External Sales Engineer position in the future.
You will play a key part in helping IGS grow in line with our company's short and long-term objectives and will be expected to build strong relationships across all levels within IGS.
We will provide full training in all aspects of the role.
Main Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a portfolio of accounts
Collaborate with the external sales team
Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets
Answer incoming calls
Respond to telephone and email enquiries
Maintain the IGS CRM Workbooks platform
Experience

You must have a high degree of enthusiasm, good time keeping, a sense of humour, and a logical approach with plenty of common sense. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential. A knowledge of Microsoft Office, being numerate and having good writing skills will be an advantage.
