As Internal Sales Assistant, you will provide administrative support for the Area Sales Manager, while communicating directly with customers. You\'ll get to contribute to building new business opportunities, and your product knowledge, and professional attitude will be key in maintaining good customer relationships.

Your new job would involve\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Contacting customers to ensure they have all necessary information to proceed with their orders.
  • Sending price proposals to customers, as advised by the Area Sales Manager
  • Liaising directly with, and providing specific administrative support to the Area Sales Manager
  • Logging detailed information onto the CRM system
  • Proactively prospecting for new accounts per product / per area
  • Selling promotional products when required.
  • Contacting specific customers to determine business opportunities.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and a professional phone manner.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
Essential Criteria
  • GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English & Maths
  • Minimum of 1 years\' experience in an administrative role in a fast paced working environment
  • Good level of computer literacy, including experience in the use of Microsoft packages/computer databases
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage own time effectively
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Highly customer focused
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Professional attitude to work
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of working within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
  • Experience providing administrative support for field sales
