About us:

Tradebase is a fast-growing specialist contract supplier of sanitary ware, working with Mechanical, Maintenance & Construction contractors. We provide extensive sanitaryware project management services, working with contracts managers and site personnel to ensure that both Brassware & Chinaware products are on site, in full, undamaged, first time.

About the role:

This position is responsible to grow the customer base in accordance to the sales plan, and have knowledge of the market in order to help customers with product information and overcome issues. They may also be asked to have an involvement in customer services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cold call customers to gather information and generate leads.
  • Get potential customers interested in our products and services to a point that they are interested to receive a company catalogue.
  • Develop relationships with plumbers and smaller developers who use the bathroom products on a regular basis.
  • Once a quote has been raised, they will be responsible to follow up the customer and ensure they have all the information that they require.
  • Work closely with other team members and have a high level of communication with both the team and the customer.
  • Maintains records on the CRM fully and tracks all proposals to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Has a good feel of when they can follow up and chase for the order without becoming a nuisance to the customer.
  • Deal with any issues as soon as they arise and communicate any issues to the team
  • Sells products at approved prices to meet or exceed targeted profit margins.
