About the role:

Powys County Council is looking for a Training Officer for its Corporate training team. The position is up to 37 hours, but as the remit is a varied one, we would be open to discussions on other working patterns, such as job sharing. About you:

You will be a versatile trainer who can inspire, engage, and make a direct impact on developing the workforce in order that they can provide our customers with the best possible service

What you will do:

• Support the Organisation Design and Development team to achieve the objectives of the Corporate Strategic and Equality Plan and the People and Organisation Development Strategy.
• Develop a culture and leadership framework, supporting and maximising the performance and effectiveness of the workforce
• Deliver teaching, learning and developing individuals\xe2\x80\x99 skills across all services within the organisation, both face to face and through digital platforms;
• Deliver a suite of training courses to external customers;
• Engage in partnership working on the design, facilitation and delivery of joint initiatives.
