Summary

We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Internal Communications Team Manager to join our vibrant Communications and CSR department based in our Head Office in Tolworth.
With the pace of Lidl Great Britain\'s growth continuing, our Communications office is getting busier by the day. This role provides a brilliant opportunity for someone to combine their passion for retail with a strong desire to lead our internal communications to our 30,000+ colleagues.
As a real people person with strong communication and writing skills, you will thrive in this highly collaborative and multi-skilled role, which will provide the opportunity to work with many teams and individuals across the business. Leading the Internal Communications team and reporting into the Head of Communications & CSR, you will lead the development and delivery of Lidl GB\xe2\x80\x99s internal communications strategy and manage the effective day-to-day management of key internal communication channels.
We have moved to a hybrid working model with a recommended 2 days in the office per week for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.

What you\'ll do

• Working with the team to devise and implement Lidl GB\xe2\x80\x99s Internal communications strategy
• Building and coordinating national and regional content strategy for internal communications channels
• Providing counsel across departments on internal communications matters
• Build strong inter-departmental relationships to identify relevant issues and projects
• Developing user guidelines for Internal Communications channels
• Overseeing the planning, monitoring and delivery of internal campaigns
• Measurement of internal communications materials and campaigns
• Reviewing and approving day-to-day internal communications content
• Strategic advisor for Business Departments for matters concerning Internal Communications
• Monitoring communications trends and continuously updating methods, processes and tools
• Continuous further education and training in internal communications
• Ongoing KPI reporting
• Budget assistance and admin

What you\'ll need

• Have 8+ years of experience, either in-house or at an agency
• Experience working with retailers or big brands, and an understanding and knowledge of the retail sector and the r\\ole of Lidl within it
• Be able to independently manage projects and campaigns
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work across several projects at once
• Have a can-do attitude and be willing to take on any challenge
• Be able to work quickly and effectively
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to adapt to the company\xe2\x80\x99s tone of voice are essential
• Natural flair for problem solving
• Flexible and willing to work, on occasion, outside of normal workings hours to deal with or escalate issues that arise
