You'll work to deliver exceptional and creative employee engagement that help the business to achieve its strategic ambitions by engaging and inspiring colleagues through effective communications that deliver on our people strategy and support the evolution of our organisation.
As the High Net Worth (HNW) Internal Communications Manager, you will be primarily responsible for delivering, measuring and evolving the internal communications plan for our HNW business, Quilter Cheviot - helping to support Quilter's strategic priorities and business requirements. You will also support with communications activity across the wider Quilter Group, gaining a solid understanding of the different parts of our business.
You will act as a business partner, working strategically with our HR business partners and wider communications colleagues including Press Relations and Marketing to develop strong relationships with and support senior business leaders including the Quilter Cheviot Executive Committee. You will act as a trusted adviser, providing advice and guidance to business leaders on how to communicate strategy and plans.
You will be responsible for the development and end-to-end delivery of communications and internal engagement events. Working with your Internal Communication colleagues and stakeholders to deliver timely, targeted, creative and effective communications. This will involve writing content on behalf of senior stakeholders including regular blogs, newsletters and intranet articles; creating, inputting and maintaining communication plans; and helping to run colleague events such as virtual as townhalls, colleague conferences and leadership events as well as working with our HR colleagues to deliver engagement activities to support change initiatives.
You will gain a full understanding of the various audiences and will deliver key messages according to their needs, ensuring internal communications remain outcome focused and driven by the key priorities of the business. You will cover it all, from the articulation and translation of strategy and transformation initiatives, business priorities and plans, how we're performing and supporting our clients; all things people related including talent, culture and employee experience as well as showcasing and celebrating our people, sharing stories from across our business, and so much more.

About YouIdeally you will have a solid level of experience in internal communications, PR or marketing functions looking after a business. Ideally experience gained from a similar Financial Services organisation, or a corporate environment. Experience in planning, creating, delivering and measuring communication and engagement plans would be preferable. You will be highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines. You will have very strong writing and editing skills, to deliver clear and concise messages to a variety of audiences. You will enjoy working with a creative mindset and think outside the box to transform complex information into visually engaging and effective communications and colleague events, adopting new tools and technology such as AI into our ways of working. Interpersonal skills are important attributes for this role, including the ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate. You will also be a driven, proactive, quick-learner and be delivery focused with the ability to act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders. You will be passionate about the work you deliver and understand the impact you can have on the audiences you are communicating to. Most importantly, you will be a brilliant team player in the internal communications team, always looking for ways to learn and improve and working collaboratively to help create a highly effective, positive internal communications function.
