The Role
We are now recruiting an Internal Communications Manager to join our Marketing and Communications department. You will hit the ground running demonstrating high-quality internal communication skills supporting our Frontons in our Publishing department.
You will be responsible for ensuring our employees are informed, enabled and heard across a range of different matters. You will be the go-to expert on change communications and will lead on the development and execution of our internal communication strategy. You will partner closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business providing support and strategic advice to ensure best practice standards are being upheld in all our key messaging to the organisation.
This role will report to the Head of Internal Communications.
Role Responsibilities
Understanding the business challenges and opportunities and translating into impactful communications solutions.
Develop, deliver, and evaluate internal communications and engagement strategies which mobilise and engage internal audiences.
Develop, and deliver change communications strategies, bringing best practice and proven strategies for successful change.
Input into the development and delivery of our broader internal communication and engagement strategy and partnering with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of plans and activities.
Develop narratives and key messaging in support of strategic priorities.
Effectively manage internal communication channels and identify opportunities to improve
Provide communication coaching and advice to senior leaders.
Making data-driven recommendations off measurements and tracking work.
About You
An expert on change communications and engagement.
Demonstrated experience in success in problem solving, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Understanding of business, mission, culture and strategic priorities.
Extensive experience in relevant areas such as Communications, Human Resources, Corporate Communications.
Strong relationship, partnering and stakeholder management skills with proven track record of working with senior levels.
Exceptional planning and messaging skills, mastery of clear persuasive writing.
Demonstrated experience of having the ability to flex between strategic and tactical work, at all times ensuring communications support business objectives.
Change management skills.
Competence in MS, Confluence, Excel.
Excellent communication skills, written, spoken and presentation skills.
