\xc2\xa330k - \xc2\xa335k per annum basic salary + commission (approx. \xc2\xa345k-\xc2\xa350 OTE)

Full Time - Permanent - 40 hours per week (8am - 5pm)

If so, we are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join a successful manufacturing and distribution company in Petersfield. This is exciting opportunity permanent opportunity to join a really progressive and customer focussed company who focus on key markets including logistics, construction, public sector and services.

About the Role

Reporting to your Divisional Manager, this role involves proactively managing, retaining and growing your existing accounts, whilst maximizing sales profitability (\xc2\xa32m-\xc2\xa33m turnover). Developing key relationships across accounts and actively seeking to understand their business requirements both short term and long term. Delivering excellent customer service through frequent contact with our clients and identifying new opportunities across the company\'s product portfolio.

You will have a dedicated Sales Assistant to support you with all admin and each one of your accounts will have a dedicated CSE to take care of all client admin relating to the accounts.

Key duties will include:

  • Being accountable for meeting and exceeding individual client targets, and your combined portfolio target
  • Establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with your clients
  • Continually identifying areas of potential growth within your existing client base via gap analysis.
  • Ensuring that data is accurately recorded and kept up-to-date on the CRM system
  • Maximising opportunities by keeping connected and in conversation with existing clients
  • Identifying and resolving any client concerns
  • Taking leadership of all proposals, plans and pitches and striving to exceed client expectations
  • Confidently promoting the company brand and products to clients
  • Continuous improvement your knowledge of company products range, including new product arrivals
  • Implementation and maintenance of \'keep\' strategy plans for all your clients
  • Ensuring communication is maintained with key stakeholders including Procurement, Health & Safety and Operational representatives within your clients. Identifying 5 key stakeholders within each account
  • Identifying upselling opportunities and setting up trials
What we are looking for:

We are ideally looking for 3 years product-based b2b account management experience, but whatever your background, you must be able to engage clients on the telephone in a confident and professional manner. You will need to demonstrate good communication skills, ability to thrive working in a team, excellent customer service skill with a focus on hitting your targets and driving business forward.

Key knowledge, skills and attitudes required:
  • General knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective listening skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks
  • Confident when dealing with difficult situations and decisions
  • Organised and self motivated
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Flexible with a \'can do\' attitude
