Responsibilities:
The role is based in London, reporting directly to the Fund Management of Hines European Property Partners Fund ("HEPP" or "Fund").
HEPP is a diversified, open-ended core-plus fund focused on key European markets. The fund is actively acquiring and developing sustainable assets across a range of sectors including logistics, office, living - residential and student housing. HEPP will leverage Hines' expertise and presence in 17 offices across Europe to identify investment opportunities in Europe's most dynamic urban centers and gateway cities. You will work in all areas of fund management from strategy to implementation of business plans, from investor reporting to raising capital. Typical work responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Investment StrategyScreening new acquisitions and test underwrite assumptions across multi-asset classes and jurisdictions, including analysis and supporting review of complex financial models.
Asset and fund level model manipulation, sensitivity and scenario work, interpretation and translation into underwriting narrative for management.
Preparation of presentation materials for internal & external stakeholders.
Contributing to the strategic direction of the funds and work with Hines Research to analyse market data in relation to portfolio strategy.
Portfolio performanceSupport portfolio management activities, including data/performance analysis and drafting presentation materials
Investor relationsProvide additional support to other teams including the Capital Markets Group in capital raising efforts and investor relations
Preparing presentation materials for current/prospective investors, including investor meetings and update calls.
Maintaining fund marketing collateral for investor meetings and other marketing materials needed to support the promotion of the funds to current and prospective investors.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:
Graduate with relevant degree (for example real estate, finance, business etc.). MBA/Master's degree (preferred)
Two or three years of work experience (desirable)
Multi-tasker, able to provide complicated financial analysis and develop appropriate corporate finance solutions.
Collaborative and detail-oriented team player with ability able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Good verbal and written presentation and communications skills
Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
