The University of South Wales is one of the UK's most exciting and ambitious universities. Authentic, disruptive and nurturing, we work to build better futures for our students, our communities, and our partners - economically, socially, and culturally.

We are seeking a highly skilled, and experienced marketing professional to play a key role in supporting the University's marketing and student recruitment activity.

The Interim Senior Marketing Officer will work closely with the Interim Campaign Planning and Brand Executive, and collaboratively with colleagues across Future Students and the University, ensuring the integration of all undergraduate and postgraduate marketing campaigns across all Future Students channels.

Based at the University's Pontypridd campus, but with opportunities for home working, the post-holder will adopt an innovative, integrated, customer-focused approach. This role will involve supporting a wide-ranging marketing and recruitment plan for all markets and delivering varied, wide-ranging, and far-reaching marketing campaigns, collaborating with multiple teams within Future Students to support the University in achieving its recruitment targets.

The Interim Senior Marketing Officer will support the creative development of a range of marketing promotional activities in line with the University's 2030 Strategy and Future Students' strategic objectives. The successful candidate will support the implementation of promotional materials, recruitment and marketing campaigns, including media planning and marketing materials, social media, recruitment events and publications, including brochures and magazines and direct mail campaigns.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with external stakeholders, and display an efficient, confident, professional, can-do attitude to all aspects of their work. The Interim Senior Marketing Officer will also act as a brand guardian, developing user guides and forums to promote best use, monitoring and auditing usage, advising, and supporting teams across the University in the correct use of brand (tone of voice, creative style, logo use) as they develop marketing and communication materials.

This is a full-time role for an interim period of a maximum of 12 months as cover for maternity leave. The University is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week and travel between the University's campuses will be required on occasion. Evening and weekend working is also a requirement of the role, as Future Students adopts a one-team approach to its Open Days and other recruitment events.

Benefits on offer include 35 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays and closure days, family-friendly policies and a generous pension scheme. Discover more advantages of working for USW: tiny.cc/PSSatUSW.
