MCS Group is delighted to be assisting a key client source an Interim Project Accountant on behalf of a leading Financial Services company.

Hybrid role. Belfast or North West location (Letterkenny, Derry/Londonderry)

Interim Project/Commercial Accountant - 12 M FTC

Key Duties:

• Preparation and submission of government grants, statutory returns and related audits.
• Cashflow forecasting and assisting with global cash management.
• Implement controls and processes to drive overall efficiency and maximise commercial performance.
• Maintenance and enhancement of Finance policy and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of commercial reporting and tracking of forecasts and budgets. Analysing financial performance and providing insights. Presenting financial analysis and insights to stakeholders using excel and/or PowerBl or similar
• Identify and evaluate potential areas of improvement and/or efficiency creation within the Finance remit.
• Supporting ad-hoc projects, system enhancements and reporting.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 4 years\' experience in accounting roles
• Advanced proficiency in the use of Excel
• A working knowledge of accounting software systems
