Job Title: Interim Management Accountant

Salary: up to \xc2\xa340,000-\xc2\xa345,000 FTE

Location: Faversham onsite

Contract: 6 months

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a rapidly expanding construction company based in Faversham. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the the finances for projects and providing analysis for key financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

- Preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow statements

- Perform variance analysis to identify key cost drivers

- Produce ad hoc reports as requested by senior management

- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

- Assist with the annual audit process

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

- Manage preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

- Provide input into process improvement and other initiatives that will result in operational efficiencies

- Provide support to senior management as required

Requirements:

- part qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE is essential

- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry or project reporting

- Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills

- Experience in using accounting software packages and Excel

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Good knowledge of accounting standards and regulations

- Able to work independently and within a team

- Previous experience using Sage or Xero accounting software
