Interim Head Of Finance

Job Description
Robert Half is recruiting an Interim Head of Finance, for our large construction industry client based in Hertfordshire, for a period of approximately 6-12 months on on a fixed term contract basis.
The position of Interim Head of Finance will be varied and require the following;
Key Duties
- Prepare monthly group finance board reports and quarterly packs
- Prepare annual budgets and business plans
- P&L bridges and commentaries
- Profit forecast bridges and commentaries
- Monthly/quarterly Forecasting
- Working capital reporting
- CVR reviews
- Billings/order book
- Cash monitoring and forecasting
- Effective organisation and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- An analytical approach and hands-on attitude
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive data and able to work in line with GDPR regulations.
- A confident and adaptable communication style, able to work with all stakeholders
- A self-motivated conscientious approach but with the ability to work as a team at all levels.
- Broad knowledge of financial systems and the ability to provide meaningful analysis.
- Previous experience in people management
- A proven track record of managing high value projects.
- Construction / facilities management industry experience essential
- Advanced excel skills.
