Responsibilities:

• You will be required to scope, understand and assess current Data and Technology architecture landscape and roadmap with a view to providing a reviewed and justified business case for the investment in our future data strategy to embed the right foundations for future enterprise data success and insightful data driven business analytics.
• Establish an effective and fit for purpose data strategy that considers all current and future business activities and user requirements to be implemented for cross function and operational use. Considering baseline data management, governance principles along with correct tooling and facility for set-up of future data analytics, visualisation and data driven decision making based on key KPI\'s and metrics of the business.
• Understand current blocks and challenges in data enterprise and come up with resourceful and effective solutions gaining the support of the leadership team and business stakeholders.
• Given this is a relatively greenfield area, we are aspiring to engender a data driven culture and indoctrinate this new capability into everyday work practices. Hence to establish build the right team, doing the right things and actively promoting commercial data benefit use cases will be key.

Data Analytics Leader to establish Data Management and Analytics Capability|Interim Data Leader required to develop enterprise Data analytics proposition

Candidate Specification:

• This role would suit a proven Head of Data / Chief Data Interim / contractor who has a proven background of implementing and delivering effective "fit for purpose" data management and data analytics capability across enterprise level with a broad knowledge across the data spectrum bringing an insightful approach to our Data strategy.
• Able to roll the sleeves up and get stuck into understanding our business requirements, adept at leading and delivering on projects, utilise current resources and develop that capability towards the next phase of maturity.
• Extensive knowledge of Databases, data architecture, enterprise data analytics tooling and data visualisation / dashboards for SME organisations.
• A "can do" attitude with strong communications skills are essential to engage with the leadership team, investors, board to identify opportunities and tackle challenges along the way.

Well established and fast growing scale-up enterprise based in London. This company has a unique offering which is attracting a fast growing customer base and gaining significant investment to expand their breadth of operation and quality of product and service to customers.

Initially 6 months contract but expect an ongoing requirement for effective implementation of Data analytics.

Occasional London office visit but mostly remote role.
