Job Description


Sewell Wallis are working with a Charity in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for c3 months.

Our client is looking for a fully qualified technical accountant, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA who can hit the ground running and working closely with the Finance Director, your key responsibilities will include:-

Setting up processes for month end
Leading strategic finance projects
Reviewing monthly results
Managing financial risk
Reviewing key finance processes and making recommendations
Maintaining the balance sheet
Managing the year end external audit process
Overseeing a small team
Ad hoc project work

Requirements

Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
Solid knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance and focus on financial control
Strong reporting and reconciliations background
People management experience
Ability to influence the wider business

This role is 4 days in the office / 1 work from home and candidates must be available to start at short notice.
