Interim Finance Director (80-90k)

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for an Interim Finance Director for a well known SME in Greater Belfast. This position is with a target employer in NI and will ideally commence within a short turnaround time, offering a market-leading rate and potential for extension for the successful applicant.

The Role:

You will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will oversee responsibility for key functional areas of the business as follows:

- Manage and direct a medium-sized finance team and administrative staff on the timely, day-to-day delivery of financial and operational information

- Strive to improve profitability of the group and deliver regular board reports/presentations on key drivers involved to achieve agreed targets

- Develop and improve financial reporting systems.

- Streamline forecasting, financial planning and analysis, projects and liaison with banks.

- Drive maximum return from a period of positive change with the organisation and advise re future-proofing

- Review and assess current finance team structure

The Ideal Person:

- Extensive track record of delivering positive change through growth periods

- Restructuring experience and strong commercial understanding of business targets and goals

- Professional qualification with a relevant accountancy body

Remuneration:

Negotiable dep. upon experience
