Job Description

Great opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a long-standing and renowned transport and distribution company based in the Barnsley area. They are looking for an experienced individual to join their friendly team on a 6-month fixed term contract.

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a Barnsley based company of which have been continuously growing, year after year, for the past 30 years. With a transition within the business being on the horizon, they are looking out for an Interim Finance Business Partner to assist with the company\'s restructure. You will become a crucial member of the team as they look to expand their growth even further, through your input and strategic advice.

This role includes the opportunity to be project-focused, throughout a 6-month period. You will be performing analysis, creating reports on budgets, forecasts and any financial risks. Additionally, you will be reporting on the businesses progression and ensuring that targets are being met. This will be relayed across to the Finance Director and CFO, meaning that confidence in presenting your findings is key.

This role includes:

-Assisting with auditing processes.
-Being aware of business opportunities and financial risks.
-Making key commercial and financial decisions that positively impact the company.
-Generating forecast and budgeting plans.
-Preparing month-end accounts.
-Ensuring that targets are being met and making regular checks to track the progress.
-Analysing and creating reports.
-Presenting findings and reports to board members and the senior finance team.

Skills and experience:

-ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified (preferably not mandatory).
-Previous experience in a similar position.
-The ability to work at a fast pace.
-The ability to identify risk and rewarding opportunities.
-Experience of working alongside people from all levels within a working team.
